Akumin Customer Service Call Center, Trainer - Remote in United States

Remote opportunity for experienced Call Center trainer.

The Customer Service, Call Center Trainer is responsible for the development and delivery of engaging and effective instructional materials and programs. This role involves applying instructional design principles to create impactful learning experiences across various modalities and for virtual delivery. Interfaces with functional teams to develop content of training. Prepares curriculum including the delivery method, media and documentation. Instructs participants virtually in a one on one or group setting. Assesses knowledge and skill transfer post training and conducts follow up training and/or coaching if needed.

Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Design and develop instructor led and on demand web-based and digital courses for call center schedulers on the systems, process, compliance and best practices they need to know to perform their role.

  • Deliver virtual new hire and recurrent training and facilitate eLearning completion and reporting through an LMS

  • Develop and deliver training programs related other scheduling and service tasks

  • Provide additional support for special projects as needed.

Position Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience required; Certificate from College or Technical School preferred.

  • • 3+ years of experience in training development or educational content development

  • 2+ years of experience delivery virtual training programs

  • All candidates who accept an offer for employment will be required to successfully complete a pre-employment background check and drug screen as a condition of employment.

Preferred Experience:

  • Call Center agent or trainer experience

  • Use of Articulate to develop eLearning

Physical Requirements:

Standard office environment.

More than 50% of the time:

  • Sit, stand, and walk.

  • Repetitive movement of hands, arms and legs.

  • See, speak and hear to be able to communicate with patients.

Less than 50% of the time:

  • Stoop, kneel or crawl.

  • Climb and balance.

  • Carry and lift 10-20 pounds
